1. Our Approach

We hate trackers as much as you do. OmniShield's website and dashboard use the absolute minimum number of cookies and storage entries required to function. We do not use any third-party analytics, advertising networks, or cross-site tracking.

2. Cookies We Set

These cookies are strictly necessary and cannot be disabled without breaking the dashboard. They are not used for tracking.

3. LocalStorage Entries

  • omni_locale — your selected language (en / ru).
  • omni_theme — dark or light theme preference.
  • omni_consent — records that you dismissed the cookie banner so we don't show it again.

These entries never leave your device. Clear your browser storage to remove them.

4. What We Do NOT Use

  • Google Analytics, Mixpanel, Segment, Hotjar, or similar tracking SDKs.
  • Facebook Pixel, TikTok Pixel, LinkedIn Insight, or any advertising tags.
  • Cross-site tracking cookies.
  • Browser fingerprinting libraries.
  • Session-replay tools.

We operate a custom, self-hosted analytics endpoint that records aggregate, anonymized page-view counts. It honours the DNT: 1 (Do Not Track) header and never sets cookies.

5. How to Opt Out

  • Strictly necessary cookies: required to log in. If you do not accept them, simply do not log in — the rest of the site is fully usable without cookies.
  • Custom analytics: enable the DNT: 1 header in your browser, or use a privacy extension such as uBlock Origin.
  • LocalStorage: clear it any time via your browser's site settings.

6. Updates
